Lenovo's launches Zuk Z1 Smartphone with massive 4,100mAh Battery, Fingerprint Sensor, USB Type-C

Lenovo's online-only Smartphone brand Zuk has launched in China alongside its first handset - the Z1. Priced at CNY 1,799 (Rs. 18,250 approximately), the Smartphone will go on sale on online store ZUK.com in China starting from August 18.

The ZUK Z1 features a 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) Full HD IPS display, and under the hood there is a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Storage capacity is 64GB, with no option for further expansion. Device packs a massive 4,100mAh battery.

The ZUK Z1 sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-tone LED flash and the selfie business is handled by an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an OmniVision sensor. The handset supports dual Nano-SIM cards and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. In terms of design, it boasts a metal frame, glossy plastic back panel, and a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button up front.

Connectivity options The ZUK Z1 includes dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port.

While Lenovo so far has not detailed any plans to launch its online-only Smartphone brand outside China, it is expected the company may bring the brand to other markets.
