Lenovo introduced New ThinkPad P50 and P70 laptops pack in 64GB of RAM and Intel Xeon processors
Lenovo has introduced the Lenovo ThinkPad P50 and P70 Laptops, which are the world’s first laptops to be powered by Intel’s first mobile Xeon processors based on Skylake micro-architecture. The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 will be available at a starting price of $1,599 (around Rs 1, 03,500), and the ThinkPad P50 starts at $1,999 (approximately. Rs 1, 29,400).
Both laptops can access up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, arranged in 4 SODIMM slots, which the brand claims to be the highest on any workstation.
The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 and P70 laptops are powered by Intel Xeon E3 quad-core processors, aided by up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and NVIDIA Quadro GPUs.
The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 comes with 15.6-inch full HD IPS panel. It is powered by a 4-cell 66Whr battery, and an optional 6-cell 90Whr battery. The Lenovo ThinkPad P70 comes with a bigger than ThinkPad P50 it is a 17.3-inch full HD display,
The Lenovo ThinkPad P50 and P70 equipped with 1TB SSDs and up to 2TB HDDs. In terms of connectivity, they offer four USB 3.0 ports, a mini Display 1.2 port, a Thunderbolt 3 port, smart card reader, Express Card, docking connector, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1.1, Ethernet, and optional 4G LTE support. Users can also equip them with optional touch displays with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.
